I have a feeling that this image is highly symbolic. Thinking about you, Randy!

Most things wilt at some stage, some way too early.

What a great, funny post. I remember the time I met Wilt Chamberlain in Boca Raton, Florida...he had a restaurant there. I've never seen anyone so tall. I stood looking way up in amazement - like a human mountain. He was not wilted in anyway, like your poor flower!

Interesting flower, can't say I've ever seen this one before though it must be related to the Sunflower family by the looks of it.

This photograph would be a great subject for a painting.

Even in it's wilted state it's really beautiful Randy.

Well done. A classmate of mine is a professional photographer and I regularly see wilted flowers from him. You and he are the only photographers I have seen who have chosen this subject.
