I was attracted to the blue trim on this window when I shot this photo and I didn't really see the reflection until I downloaded the photo. Don't you love surprises?

Stop By
This is a blast from my archive. I forgot about this photo. I took it during the studio in Dixon last fall at one of the gallery stops.

Pecos River
The Pecos River or Rio Pecos, as it is sometimes known in New Mexico, arises near Pecos, New Mexico, United States, and flows for 926 miles (1,490 km) through the eastern portion of that state and neighboring Texas before it empties into the Rio Grande near Del Rio.

Earth and Sky
This post is for Earth Day. I love living in the high desert of New Mexico. The blue skies, the terrain and the weather. I would hate to think of this not being around for future generations. I hope everyone has a wonderful day!

These old doors remind me of old homes that I used to walk by when I was kid on my way home from school.

Cindy Sheehan
Yesterday we went to hear Cindy Sheehan speak. It was very moving to hear her speak about how her son's death moved her to become an activist. I am so happy that she came to Santa Fe. I only wish that more people were there to hear her speak. For more information please check out the following sites.

Sunday Walk
One thing I see alot of in my neighborhood on the weekends is people walking. This woman flashed the warmest smile when I passed. I wish more people made you feel this kind of warmth everyday. Smile at someone and make their day today.

A Little Sun
It has been a little cold and cloudy here lately so I thought I would search my archive of unposted photos to find a little sun and there it was. Taken last fall during an art tour, this little sun really stood out in this garden. Click on it for a better look. Happy Wednesday.

Checking the Weather
Its warmed up a little but it's getting ready to get cold again. These Daffodils decided to bloom while its warm. If it gets cold or possibly snow again they might just close up and wait for warmer weather.

Curve
This curve near the corner of Paseo De Peralta and Galisteo can be quite tricky when it snows. I know I slid off the road here. It is prettier when the trees are full.

There are so many beautiful stones that can be found here in New Mexico. I like the ones here in this Sculpture Garden. You can also see them in various gardens around town.

This month's theme is Yellow. My favorite yellow item in my city is this Forsythia bush. I love this time of year when it is in bloom.
